Alabo St. Progress

alabo-house-angleOur missions home on Alabo St. is moving along nicely. This Lower 9th Ward home will be serving as a double-purposed residence. The first and primary function of the home is for a family to live in it and secondarily it will serve as a neighborhood extension of our relief center.

We intend on having bible studies and special needs counseling made available on site asĀ  a means of gospel living and community restoration. The Hays family are set to move in soon as our first inner city missions family. Their primary focus will be in reclamation and procuringĀ  donations; helping needy families find what they need.

We’ve been blessed to have developed a working relationship with the 9th Ward Village. Mack McClendon shares our vision for long-term solutions and aid to the citizens in the 9th Ward particularly the many children and adolescents that have little positive community.

We pray that the Lord will grant us the wisdom and opportunities we need to to be effective witnesses in our cities.
