A Fruitful Partnership
Here at Homeland Missions, we seek to connect with people in the community who have a heart to serve the Lord and seek new possibilities for the Kingdom. When we find them, we are always blessed by the gifts and talents that they bring into the ministry and into our lives.
Paul Saucier is one of those people. After taking on an internship with H.E.A.R.T (Hunger Education and Resources Training) and learning the skills to survive and thrive as a missionary within a third world country, Paul’s appetite for agriculture and foreign missions grew exponentially.
“It changed my life. I was curious to see if foreign missions was something that God was calling me to do, and as of now it is. I picked up a love and passion for Hydroponics and Aquaponics because it is a different and efficient way of feeding people that are in poverty.”
Paul’s think-outside-the-box attitude is so much like our own, that we immediately took up the chance to work with him, not only in our own organic garden, but also in planning future urban agriculture prototypes.
This month, Paul will be teaching his second seminar on the possibilities of sustainable gardening within an urban setting. Stay tuned for more details!
