Held initially in August 2007, Leading As Men is a week long retreat that gives boys and men a condensed version of the biblical leadership training available through the year-long Master’s Workshop program as well as the opportunity to do supervised work beside long-term volunteers on disaster-relief and other qualifying projects.

Each day is filled with prayer, devotional time, physical work and group discussions led by our leaders.  Being located in the southeast of Louisiana affords us the opportunity to fellowship along the rivers, lakes, swamps and woods as we take each group out on outdoor excursions enjoying the beauty of what God has created.

Most young men rarely get the opportunity to fire on all cylinders in our fast-paced, high-tech society.
